I, Galath Galahad, find myself standing in yet another large and dimly lit room, as if these were the only types of places worth visiting in this forsaken land. The stone walls are adorned with alcoves, each containing the skeletal remains or corpses of what appear to have been monks at one point. I can't help but wonder - what could have possibly driven them to abandon this once sacred space?
The smell of decay fills the air, and the atmosphere is thick with a sense of history and mystery that only serves to pique my interest, if only slightly. I mean, who wouldn't want to explore such an intriguing place, am I right?
As I scan the room, one particular alcove catches my eye - an empty niche in the east wall. It seems quite out of place among its occupied counterparts. Perhaps it holds valuable information or clues as to why these monks left their post. Then again, knowing my luck, it's probably just another dead end. Oh well, might as well take a look.
After thoroughly examining the empty alcove and finding absolutely nothing of interest (shocking, I know), I decide that there's really no point in lingering any longer. Besides, I've had my fill of this musty old room and its mysterious odors. Time to move on.
So, what shall it be? Shall I explore these alcoves for potential treasure (because who knows, maybe there's something worthwhile hiding in there), or should I step back through the rusty portcullis and return to the delightful four-way intersection outside this crypt? Decisions, decisions...
