As I stand at the precipice of this four-way intersection, my eyes struggle to adjust to the darkness that engulfs me. The passage ahead is dimly illuminated, hinting at the ruins above. The others remain shrouded in a veil of darkness, offering little comfort. It seems I have no choice but to head back the way I came, towards the still, dark-green pond and its scummy layer.
As I approach the murky waters, my heart begins to race with every step I take. The air is thick with musty smells, and I can hear the sound of water trickling down the damp limestone walls. Suddenly, a group of oversized vermin emerges from the darkness, their beady eyes gleaming with cunning intelligence. They are giant weasels, standing on all fours, measuring around 3 feet long and 2 feet tall at the shoulder. Their fur is thick and coarse, ranging in color from brown to gray to red, with a distinctively bushy, ringed tail.
With a battleaxe in hand, I charge towards them, eager to defend myself against these formidable adversaries. In one swift motion, I strike down the first weasel with a resounding thud (14 damage), watching as it falls lifeless to the ground. However, my victory is short-lived as three more giant weasels attack me in return, causing 11 points of damage and leaving me clinging to life.
Suddenly, I feel a mysterious divine healing coursing through my veins, preventing my untimely demise. An unknown dark god has intervened on my behalf, granting me the gift of continued life.

However, my luck runs out as the last remaining giant weasel attacks me with a vengeance, causing 6 points of damage and leaving me lifeless on the ground. My journey has come to an end, and I have left this world without slaying all of my enemies.
