As I stand at this peculiar four-way intersection, I can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. After all, I've managed to make it this far into these decades-old ruins, armed with nothing but my trusty Black Axe and my wits. The passage directly in front of me seems to lead towards the surface, while the others remain shrouded in darkness. It's almost poetic, don't you think?

I take a moment to examine my surroundings more closely. To my left, there's a crypt that appears to be completely empty, save for the cobwebs and dust bunnies. To my rear, there's a cave filled with mosses, lichens, and fungi, as well as a scummy pond that I have no intention of investigating any further. And to my right, yet another passage that leads to...well, who knows? At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if it led straight to the lair of some ancient dragon.

As I continue my exploration, I can't help but notice the four lifeless forms of Giant Weasels scattered about. It's almost as if they were trying to warn me about something. Or maybe they were just hoping for a quick and easy snack. Either way, I can't say I'm particularly disappointed to see them gone.

After taking in the sights and sounds of this charming little intersection, I decide it's time to make my way back to the surface. The passage leading towards the ruins seems as good a choice as any, so I head in that direction. Who knows what other adventures await me on the surface?

I can't help but feel a sense of pride. After all, I've managed to navigate these treacherous ruins without falling into any pitfalls or getting eaten by Giant Weasels. It's almost as if I know what I'm doing.

But for now, it's time to head back to the surface and see what other adventures await me. Will I find myself face-to-face with some fearsome foe? Only time will tell.
