I've heard tales of these monstrosities, but never did I imagine facing one in this forsaken place.

The battle commences as the eight-legged fiend lunges at me with its venomous bite! I attempt to strike back with my trusty black axe, but alas, my efforts are in vain. The wretched creature lands a hit, leaving me to suffer 7 points of damage. My chain mail armor offers little solace against the spider's deadly venom.
